Onyx Orchid Productions has been in business since 2012 and has now expanded it’s services into many different facets of Promotion, Marketing and Event planning. Here is a snapshot of the Founder and Owner Persia Sound. . .

 

Persia Sound is a unique performer with a passion for the stage. Her sound is a beautiful blend of hard hitting lyrics with a sultry demeanor and large music to make a dynamically different and memorable performance!

Born and raised in West Philadelphia, Persia Sound started singing at a young age in showcases, choirs, and church. Some of the highlights of her growth was singing in the Teddy Pendergrass All-Star-Community Choir, studying at Germantown Settlement School for Classical Music.

Persia Sound has actively been a model, singer and Brand Ambassador for 10+ years traveling from here to different parts of the country performing and supporting local promoters. She has worked with Grammy Broad producer David Ivory who has produced for the Roots, Patti LaBelle, and Hale Storm and engineered on Erykah Badu’s debut album. She has been support vocals on many tracks with local bands such as Supreem and the New Experience and Bands from overseas Most Notable Strange Karma from Australia.  She has also opened for Mos Def in Ohio as part of his College Tour. She has also been a part of events such as The Wimbash which is produced by Doug Wimbish who is the bass player for the legendary Grammy winning band Living Color.

Though, Singing is her first love she is a firm supporter of great talent that she recognizes. For that reason she has over the years promoted events and interviewed located talent on her Youtube channel and Blog Talk radio. She is happy to be involved with BrotherlyLove215.com so that she can expand her brand and bring to light various artists in many different regions!
